Por ejemplo, «She had completed her homework before going to sleep» (Ella había terminado su tarea antes de irse a dormir).
Por ejemplo, «He had never traveled abroad before he went on vacation» (Él nunca había viajado al extranjero antes de irse de vacaciones).
Por ejemplo, «They had been studying for hours before the exam» (Habían estado estudiando por horas antes del examen).
Por ejemplo, «She had been reading the book for weeks before she finally finished it» (Ella había estado leyendo el libro durante semanas antes de terminarlo finalmente).
