📝 Tips para entender el presente simple vs. el continuo

1. Recuerda que el presente simple se utiliza para describir acciones habituales, rutinas o hechos generales. Por ejemplo, «I go to the gym every day» (voy al gimnasio todos los días).

2. El presente continuo se utiliza para describir acciones que están ocurriendo en el momento presente o para hablar de planes futuros. Por ejemplo, «I am studying for an exam right now» (estoy estudiando para un examen en este momento).

3. Una forma sencilla de diferenciar ambos tiempos verbales es recordar que el presente simple utiliza el verbo base en tercera persona del singular (he, she, it) añadiendo «-s» o «-es», mientras que el presente continuo utiliza el verbo «to be» seguido de un verbo con la terminación «-ing». Por ejemplo, «She plays tennis every weekend» (juega tenis todos los fines de semana) en presente simple, y «She is playing tennis right now» (está jugando tenis ahora mismo) en presente continuo.
