📝 Tips para entender el Past Perfect Simple y el Past Simple
1. Para utilizar el Past Perfect Simple (Pasado Perfecto Simple) en inglés, debes recordar que se utiliza para hablar sobre una acción que ocurrió antes de otro evento en el pasado. Puedes utilizar la fórmula «had + participio pasado del verbo» para formar este tiempo verbal. Por ejemplo: «I had already eaten lunch before I went to the movies.» (Ya había almorzado antes de ir al cine).
2. Una manera de reconocer el Past Perfect Simple es identificar las palabras «had» o «had not» en la oración. Estos indican el uso de este tiempo verbal. Por ejemplo: «She had never visited New York before.» (Ella nunca había visitado Nueva York antes).
3. Para utilizar el Past Simple (Pasado Simple) en inglés, debes recordar que se utiliza para hablar sobre acciones que ocurrieron en el pasado y ya han finalizado. Se forma utilizando el verbo en su forma pasada. Por ejemplo: «I went to the beach yesterday.» (Fui a la playa ayer).
4. Una manera de reconocer el Past Simple es identificar palabras como «yesterday», «last week», «in 2010», etc. Estas indican que la acción ocurrió en un momento específico en el pasado y se utiliza el Past Simple para describirlo. Por ejemplo: «They visited their grandparents last summer.» (Visitaron a sus abuelos el verano pasado).
