📝 Entiende el presente

1. Para formar el presente en inglés en la mayoría de los casos, simplemente debes añadir una «s» al final del verbo cuando el sujeto es singular en tercera persona (he, she, it). Por ejemplo, el verbo «play» (jugar) se convierte en «plays» cuando el sujeto es «she».

2. Sin embargo, hay algunas excepciones a esta regla. Por ejemplo, los verbos que terminan en «-sh», «-ch», «-s», «-x» o «-z», requieren que se añada «es» en lugar de solo «s». Por ejemplo, el verbo «watch» (ver) se convierte en «watches» en tercera persona singular.

3. Los verbos que terminan en una vocal + «y», cambian la «y» por una «i» y añaden «es» en tercera persona singular. Por ejemplo, el verbo «study» (estudiar) se convierte en «studies» en tercera persona singular.

Recuerda que también existen verbos irregulares en inglés que tienen formas de presente distintas, por lo que es importante aprenderlos y practicarlos aparte.
